The biggest issue is the constant lack of structure, accountability, and professionalism, and it starts with management. Management changes constantly, and you never know who is actually in charge. Just when you get used to one person, they’re gone and replaced by someone new who has no idea what’s going on. There is zero consistency, and residents are left to deal with the confusion. On top of that, many of the front office leaders come across as rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to assist unless you push repeatedly. I’m making this review because it’s something I wish that I could’ve read before moving into the Edge. 1. I had no problems with the new management at all, they seem to care about the people living there more than any other management. 2. Your roommates here should be your biggest concern. I was unlucky and got put into a 4x4 unit with two terrible and disgusting girls for 4/6 months that I lived there. That’s a story for another day but please be careful and mindful of who your roommates are. 3. The fire alarms are very sensitive so cooking is not an option in your apartment. 4. The residents are 95% college students, over half of them are freshman so noise wise and cleanliness wise…have a good imagination of what you’ll deal with. 5. UPDATE: Well it's Wednesday evening and NO working dryer. Today at 1:45 when I hadn't been notified of delivery, I contacted Hannah again. She said she would check on it. She called to say it was 30-45 minutes away and maintenance would install it before leaving today. Well she lied! Don't believe anything they say. My daughter has lived here for 4 years now. There are lots of things I want to say but won't (yet). Problem right now is no working dryer for 20 days. Management has been aware for this long. Multiple "attempts " at fixing it, leaving it in worse condition. It was then replaced with a different dryer. There are so many things wrong with this place I am not even sure where to start. 1. Management - I have never felt more disrespected by a manager than I have here. They have a college student handling most issues without any adult supervision. She is unable to do these things without complications. She will call the cops for no reason and be very disrespectful. Her name is Mya, for 2 years I have had issues with her and nothing has been resolved. The other managers are okay, but they are not helpful. If Mya is on duty alone then they are unaware of what she is doing including disrespecting tenants. 2. So unless, I can have management come on here and correct me, they don't tell you that they'll use half of your security deposit, you're supposed to get back for utilities used to "backdate". So, they took $88 for what was used out of my $150 security deposit, even though I paid my $667 rent, that was $640 when I moved, plus going over the so called "included" utilities for $7.
