The Crown Apartments

I lived at Crown Apartments for two years and have nothing but good things to say. I always felt safe, and the complex is generally quiet. Maintenance requests were handled promptly, and Paul, the property manager, is personable, kind, and extremely helpful. If you’re looking for a peaceful place and prefer to avoid crowds, look no further. I highly recommend this place.

Can not say enough about these apartments. The office staff is sweet as can be. They are incredibly helpful with everything. Ms Toni especially is just incredible. This is the first place I've ever rented from that actually returned a security deposit with an itemized list of what they took money for, and it was only what we discussed (carpet cleaning). The rest actually came back!!!! Maintenance was awesome and always showed up whatever hour of the day or night they were needed. the grounds were well kept and pool area always clean. It was a quiet complex and neighborhood. The sidewalks and park made for a great place to own and walk a pet. Prices were beyond reasonable and worth every cent. Like I said, cannot say enough. Can't wait to be back there.

My husband and I lived here for about a year and a half and it was great. Toni and Larry were always helpful and friendly. The apartment was nice with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The grounds were well kept. The neighborhood is friendly and safe and easy access to both Western and Camp Lejeune. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone!

The place is nice and the area is nice. When I had an issue with a neighbor who was older than me, the landlord told me that I was disrespectful just because I was “considerably younger”. If you’re young, don’t rent here. If you have any issues with someone older than you, she’ll take their side. Only ever had problems with one neighbor being ugly with me. Overall a decent place. Just don’t expect to be respected, even though you’re giving them money. Edit: new landlord is just as bad. Told me to my face that he doesn’t respect me and has made our life extra difficult since we had issues with him. Left us without AC for 2 weeks in the middle of July, during a major heat wave, but was willing to fix a friends AC on a Sunday morning asap. He’s purposely neglectful.

I really enjoyed my time at the Crown. It was full of good families, single Marines, and civilians-some Def. Dept employees. There was a good pool, it was relatively quiet, I asked a neighbor once to lower the music and he did- it's an apartment so you do here sounds relative to a house. The apartment was clean and our needs were met quickly. Larry and Toni exceeded our expectations- and we had read mixed reviews on the internet but saw nothing to validate the criticism. As usual, you have to see for yourself to judge. There are young Marines there, but there were also members of the LGBT community and older folks too. Great neighborhood to walk in, and close to restaurants/Western Blvd. Rent was reasonable and deposit was easy to get back too. We needed a three month rental and we got it
