The Crossings at Hamilton Station

This place does not live up to its initial impression. I’m masking my name out of concern for retaliation. I pay $3,000 a month in rent, and the conditions do not justify the cost. Trash areas are consistently overflowing, multiple neighbors (myself included) have seen mice outside, and dog waste is everywhere—large piles scattered around the buildings. My neighbor’s dog went to the ER for a case of gastritis, likely from licking paws that contained fecal matter. She now carries wipes on her walks and recommended I do the same. We can’t use the dog run because it’s filthy. Management does not enforce any rules. At best, residents receive a generic “friendly reminder” email, which clearly does nothing. Let’s talk about it. There is literally no one to upkeep the apartment at all I never see maintenance cleaning or vacuuming those disgusting carpets in the hall way not to mention. The payment system they use for rent doesn’t always work & with that being said they are quick to take you to court and sue you over late payments even if it’s not your fault or even when you try to rectify the situation. Please be aware before you move here that it’s not worth it at all !!!!!

Apartment floor plan itself is nice but the apartment itself has an extremely drafty master bedroom and master bathroom. The drafty windows is a problem in both floorplans I’ve lived in at this complex. Maintenance says the bedroom being 5+ degrees colder is a “normal” problem and they can’t do anything about it. Former apartment was smaller in square feet, but our electric bill was significantly higher despite similar usage in both floorplans. Leasing office deflected all our inquiries about why our electric bill was so high. It’s a nice apartment as long as you have the luck to not deal with anything Edgewood Properties related.

I've been living here for about a year and a half now and have had such positive experiences with the maintenance and leasing office I haven't had many issues, but when they do pop up, they are always quickly resolved once brought to their attention via submitting a ticket in the app. Thank you

I lived in this apartment with the other reviewer and saw the entire situation unfold. From my side, it was just as frustrating. We were told in writing that an inspection would take place on 6/27/25 before move-out, but no one showed up. After we turned in the keys, we heard nothing for over two weeks and then got hit with a $497 bill for “cleaning and repairs” — no photos, no invoices, nothing to justify it. New Jersey law gives tenants the right to attend the inspection to avoid surprise charges. That right was ignored. I personally recorded video showing the apartment was in great shape, yet management dismissed it and told us to “contact our lawyer” when we asked for documentation.
