While the onsite staff are polite and helpful, upper management at JARS LLC specifically Lauren Emerson and Tina Hill — make it nearly impossible to get anything truly resolved. Budget restrictions (or lack of willingness to spend) mean that serious issues are left unaddressed. Which is WILD for a company that brings in a 25 MILLION DOLLAR REVENUE A YEAR! Fountain Lake is by far one of the worst apartments to rent in Brunswick. There is mold, cockroaches, rats and floods all the time. They are a definition of slum lord. They don't want to spend the money to fix anything and just throw bandaids until you move out. Then they rent to the next person. I have never lived in an apartment where you had to worry so much about infestation and flooding because the pipes are too old to handle daily wear and tear. I know many of my neighbors have filed with code enforcement and a few even seeking legal action. They worm their way around things to try and make you look like the problem but anyone with these issues would be upset. I can not wait to move out of here. *EDIT* DON'T RENT HERE DON'T DO IT! Just prior to Ian, the pipe in my kitchen BURST (check out the pictures) none of the provided emergency numbers were working, I ended up calling someone who was terminated who helped me get in contact with someone. After about 2 hours of water pressure washing my stove, my floor had over an inch of water from front door to back door. My sink was not repaired for weeks, and...here's the kicker, NOTHING WAS DONE FOR MOLD REMEDIATION! I was provided a dehumidifier, which I left running for several days (and I paid on my own bill). No discount to my rent. Never fixed my cabinets..and then had the audacity to tell me that my rent would be going up by $300. I moved. This place is horrible. The below situation was never resolved. Clean, quiet neighborhood and a pleasant staff. They worked with me a lot with my move-in date and made sure the concerns I had with my unit were addressed before I did so. Thanks, Lateshia!

Really great since getting a new staff that cares to do their job! Maintenance gets things done quick, and the front office cares about residents.
