The Courtyards Pacific Village

I have been a tenant of this apartment complex since 2021, the original first tenants of building 1 before any others were open. Today I reported to the head manager that my in building locked storage unit was robbed, and two e-bikes were stolen (over 6k in total losses). She was very dismissive and said that’s life people steal everywhere. I even showed her video evidence of the theft and also other video evidence of another neighbors bike items being stolen from the locked storage room. I asked if she would notify the complex about the increase in theft and to alert them to check their storage units, she said she didn’t know if that was the “appropriate” action to take. While the amenities and layout of our floor plan are appealing, there are far too many drawbacks for me to recommend leasing this property. Within just three days of moving in, we encountered issues with a few dog owners who allow their pets to bark excessively—often for multiple minutes at a time and repeatedly throughout the day. It’s disruptive and clearly a sign of either neglect or boredom, which makes us question whether these residents should even have dogs in the first place. Despite filing multiple complaints with the leasing office, all we’re told is that they’ve spoken to the owners. We toured the property a few weeks ago. Overall, the amenities are modern and well-maintained. The clubhouse and office center are impressive, and the pool is spacious with nice shaded areas for relaxation. However, they do charge extra for more than one parking, which could increase living costs. The reason for my low rating is the experience we had with the staff member who showed us around. She seemed to make assumptions about us based on our appearance, treating us with an attitude that felt dismissive. She unlocked an apartment for us to view but didn’t take the time to walk us through or explain anything in detail. The entire experience left us feeling unwelcome. It’s really a great apartment choice. I would recommend Courtyard Pacific Village to everyone. Big swimming pools, great amenities, great location.

This is a wonderful place to stay! Management has always been responsive with my requests, maintenance is timely and efficient, and I love the fact that the apartment itself is brand new and kept in great shape. I have had no issues here. It is also in a great location, very close to Carmel Mountain Plaza. I’m very glad I chose to move here! I highly recommend this apartment.
