The Cottages at Ingleside

Absolutely disgusting here. There is dog waste ALL over the property. Nobody ever picks it up. I can't even use the dog park bc it's covered in it. probably why they don't show it to you on the tour. the houses by the pond are plastered with bugs all summer. my friend had to move out bc of all the bugs. You can't open your windows bc they allow smoking. Your house will smell like cigarettes, weed, and cigars constantly. Cigarette butts all over the property. The staff doesn't monitor anything, everyone has trash on their porches all hours of the day. It smells so bad in the summer. Ppl still have rotting pumpkins on their porches in feb. bc the office doesn't care. It was a good place with a good concept but has gone downhill in the year that I've been here. What a beautiful property. Absolutely loved it! It was even better in person — spotless, bright, beautifully maintained and very quiet. The fenced in patio space was fabulous. The leasing agent, Avery was knowledgeable professional, and made the whole viewing experience a delight.. I could definitely see myself living here!

The property is nice but they require you to do a community package for valet trash and WiFi. The WiFi here absolutely sucks. I’ve been to the front office to try and get it fixed the only thing they helped me with is giving me a phone number for the internet company (which they were no help at all either) WiFi so bad my phone constantly freezes and calls fail when I’m home on it. The package is way too expensive for the WiFi to be like this. I feel when you’re looking at moving here the office people are super friendly and hands on until you actually live here.

Nice apartment, but an Incompetent billing department. Several errors and miscommunication have happened in regard to billing. If you have to break your lease, get in writing ALL of the charges ahead of time, otherwise they will “surprise” you with additional charges just when you believe you have everything squared away.

I toured the Cottages at Ingleside and had the best experience! I LOVED the location, so close to everything and right in the middle, and super convenient no matter where you're going in Charleston. I loved how clean the clubhouse was, and there's so many nice amenities. The best part is the apartments!! It feels like a neighborhood and you have so much more space than a regular apartment. Lastly, the staff are also SO friendly! They make you feel so welcome during your tour, and are very personable. 10/10!!
