My wife and I relocated to the Charleston area for work. We were working with a corporate relocation program which can in and of itself be a challenge at times. The first realtor (not a Pratt & Co agent) was poor at best. He showed us properties that were not even close to what we wanted or needed. We ultimately fired him and the relocation company connected us with Jim Hamilton. Our experience working with Jim was an excellent one. We have bought and sold several properties over the years and Jim is by far the best realtor we have ever worked with. He listened, educated, guided, and made suggestions. We worked with Jim Hamilton to sell our home in Charleston as we were relocating to another state. Jim was always professional and helpful. We bought our house in SC through him in 2005 and did not hesitate to use him to sell the house when we were relocating out of state. We had to use a relocation firm through my husbands employer. The company was at times difficult and Jim helped us work through their process never getting frustrated. When we moved before settlement on our house he willingly checked on it regularly. We would recommend him to anyone selling or buying in the Charleston area.
