The Coastal Project

We recently stayed with The Coastal Project in La Jolla with our family and had a great experience. The place was beautiful and our kids loved the pool. My son and my husband even got to go surfing, which they loved. The team we spoke with on the phone was also very helpful and always available if we needed anything, which made our stay even better. We would definitely stay with them again.

I had an epic 5 night first stay in one of their apartments, and I highly recommend it. I'll keep it in mind if I ever need a place for a longer working stay. It's a spacious, super functional basic apartment that's very well maintained. Keypad checkin was very flexible and smooth. The host was noteably thoughtful and responsive throughout my stay. This is one of the good airbnb apartments for sure! And it's in a family kind neighborhood neighborhood right next to the heart of PB. The specific neighborhood is peaceful, but the whole PB beach abs scene is only a 2 block walk away.

We stayed at one of their homes and honestly had the best time. I went with my kids for Thanksgiving, and it was exactly what we needed. The house was super cozy, the weather was perfect, and the kids basically lived in the pool. Everything felt easy, comfortable, and stress-free. We made so many good memories together. I’m really grateful for the experience and would totally stay with them again!

This Airbnb was great! Would definitely book again if I go back to San Diego. The location was perfect right in Mission Beach. Walk out the door and the bay is to your left and the beach is to your right. Was perfect to just go outside and walk around, see scenery/so many bars and restaurants right in the area. It was also a really close drive to everything around San Diego that we wanted to see. Host was very responsive and helpful!

Easy access to the apartment. Stroller accessible. Quiet, even though it’s in the middle of an entertainment district. Great windows, whether to let in the light, see the sights, or darken at night. Loft design is fun, yet creates a “separate” bedroom. Hosts are quickly responsive.
