The Chanler at Montclair

We spent 5 years here and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Great space, convenient location, fair rent price and increases, and the onsite super Tony is fantastic - personable, fast, and caring. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to live in Montclair and working nearby or commuting to NYC!

We applied for this location and during the tour we had to fill out a form indicating our ethnicity and the form discussed equal opportunity housing etc to verify they showed us the townhome. which I thought was strange but filled it out. We exceeded the income requirements and submitted our application. Mysteriously following the tour I would call the office leave messages and there were no return phone calls. After over 2 weeks of not hearing back we decided to stop by the office where we were told that we were denied due and she sent a letter. She claimed it was due to one of our credit reports but we exceeded the income requirements and have perfect rental history. & We never got a letter. My daughter lives here. Very nice, well-maintained complex. Atrium is beautiful. People seem nice. Awesome neighborhood, to boot.
