The Breakers On The Lake

I’ve lived at The Breakers on the Lake for about a year and a half and have had a great experience. When I was deciding which apartment complex to choose, I immediately knew this was the right place because of the strong sense of community. It’s easy to get to know your neighbors, and it really feels like everyone has a great relationship here. The staff is awesome — Paige, Ashley, Martina, and the maintenance team are all super friendly and quick to help whenever something comes up. I really enjoy the community events they host, and the complex is always kept clean (we just had pressure washing done recently). This is by far the best apartment complex I’ve lived at, and I’ve truly enjoyed calling it home.

Spent 2 years here and it was really nice. Office staff is responsive and knowledgeable and friendly. Service issues get done in a timely manner. The atmosphere is laid back and pleasant. The buildings are not new and the layouts are dated, but the views and access to the boardwalk make up for it. Prices are also reasonable for the location. In 2 years, I only had one Amazon package stolen. Neighbors on multiple occasions would bring me my packages that were delivered to them accidentally. Pool area is a vibe. I’ll dock a point for amenities bc the gym is tiny. Overall I’d rate this place a 8.5/10 considering the age and building quality. Everything else makes up for it.

This place is everything that apartment living should be. You cannot beat the location, the leasing and management staff is beyond wonderful. And Homer and the maintenance team are super friendly. Super informative and super quick. I cannot say enough nice things about this place.

Just left after 2 fabulous years and miss this place already! It all started with the incomparable Paige in the leasing office… she’s the heartbeat of the whole complex. Nothing is a problem and she genuinely cares about the residents. The rest of the staff were all great too. The pool is fantastic, always plenty of socialising going on, and obviously the location being right ON the hike and bike trail is just insane. Beautiful old trees all around the property, all buildings and stairs recently painted, maintenance crew are great, and I’d say roughy 80% of my issues were fixed same day, the rest were next day. Wish I could have stayed - thank you y’all for a fantastic experience! 😊

I lived at Breakers on the Lake for 4 years and couldn’t have asked for a better living situation. The location is unbeatable and the river walk access is a spectacular feature for those who love nature within the city. The staff at Breakers (especially Paige) consistently go above and beyond to ensure everyone is happy and that problems fixed in a timely fashion. It was a pleasure to live at Breakers on the Lake, and I highly recommend it to anyone new to Austin or who work downtown.
