The Bentley Apartments

I have been living at The Bentley for almost two years and it’s a solid place to live. The rooms and appliances are modern while the walls and windows are thick — which can be a luxury at newer buildings. The staff is great, from the manager (Cathie) to the concierge (Raschelle) to the maintenance staff (Jose and Noelia). My dog is also a fan of the free treats he gets. I’d also say that the price for this building is reasonable for what’s offered and the location. The only thing stopping me from giving the building five stars is that the gym (treadmills, bikes, ellipticals) — an important element of a building — is outdated.

I lived at the Bentley for almost 3 years and really can't say enough good things about the building and the management. We first moved in right as the building opened and initially things were a little rocky as they cycled through a few management companies, but when they finally settled on Borger it seemed to even out. The building is very new, and nicely appointed. Things are clean, well kept, and quiet (very little noise from the street or other apartments). The front desk staff was always helpful in getting packages and friendly as we came and went. Best of all, the location of our apartment was unbeatable for the price. I don't normally leave reviews for apartments. But The Bentley Apartments really exceeds my limits. Here's why: 1. The whole experience with them is just TERRIBLE! First of all, the website is such a trash. I can't book apartment tours online? Fine, I'll make a phone call -the old fashion way. Guess what? The front desk is super rude and has to ask me to call a different number to book the tour, like it's not their job to take notes and give it to the leasing office.... 2. when it's finally the tour day, I was having trouble to find a street parking spot. And I called them and asked nicely to park in their garage. I was told "no". I had to spent 30 minutes driving around the building to find a spot. Finally parked, walked in the lobby waiting for my tour and thinking the worst park is ove

After living in DC for the past 7 years, I can certainly say that The Bentley is the BEST apartment building in the city. First, location is unbeatable. Right on 14 street, you are just a few steps from DC's best restaurants and bars, Whole Foods, Vida Gym, and City Bikeshare. Second, you get an excellent bang for your buck. Apartments are spacy, have lots of natural light and top appliances. Third, the management team is amazing. From the concierges and maitenance team to the building management, they are all amazing and willing to always help you. Jonathan, Kiara, Jordan, Noelia and Jose are all great. I really enjoyed living at the Bentley - it's a beautiful building, the apartments have VERY functional layouts and look phenomenal, the location is perfect, and the building staff are all super helpful.
