The Avenue on Oakland

I enjoy living at The Avenue on Oakland. The location is excellent—Oakland is charming, and being next to the Nature Preserve and trail is a huge plus. We can walk or bike into downtown Winter Garden, and I love that bikes are provided for residents. The apartments are beautiful, the clubhouse is great, and maintenance is always friendly, responsive, and quick. Trash valet multiple times a week is also very convenient. However, there are ongoing issues. The gates frequently break, parking near Building 1 is very limited, and the building security door has never worked properly in the two years I’ve lived here. Common areas also need better upkeep, including stairwells, walls with chipped paint, a frequently dirty elevator, and a hot tub that is often broken. Overall, it’s a great place to

Community is amazing. Great amenities, modern apartment, and very friendly staff. Jyline and Andrew are also very sweet, and Courtney is a spectacular manager!!

I moved in less than a week ago to The Avenue at Oakland and I’ve needed a few small maintenance repairs, things like the toilet not working properly. Everything has been handled incredibly professionally. The response was super fast and efficient. Jonathan, the technician who has come by, is always friendly, smiling, and genuinely trying to fix everything the right way. I’m really impressed with the service so far and very happy with how the team takes care of residents. It’s been a great first impression.

I am a Walmart delivery driver. I had a Walmart grocery delivery for a resident who lives in this property. From the time of arriving on this property it took me an additional 30 minutes to complete the delivery making my customer's Walmart Grocery Delivery 30 minutes late. There are multiple locked gates, multiple locked doors. This is more like a prison and a jail rather than a place where people live. Even jails and prisons have less security and are easier to get into than this supposed "apartment" living space. It's sad for the people who live here really. Other delivery drivers, avoid delivering to this property at all costs as you will be adding at least +30 minutes to your Total delivery time. You can thank me later for the warning.

It's an average place for an apartment these days. You may have to keep asking them if they offer any kind of incentive/promotion, like a gift card. The maintenance people are outstanding though!
