The Avanti Apartments

(PHOTOS INCLUDED) If I could leave a 0 star review I would, when I started living here with this company was when I was at an apartment complex called "the studibaker" we lived there for a few years and since we moved in we were infested with German roaches. We put in multiple maintenance requests just for nobody to show up, ever. Last year we had a terrible hurricane come through Ocala right across these apartments, we heard something in the roof snap and immediately we called maintenance, nobody came. For months we didn't think much of it, part of our roof was torn off but oh well, I ended up getting pregnant early this year and we noticed water marks on our roof, again we contacted and nobody came. Then the mushrooms came, FROM OUR ROOF they grew and it was disgusting, our shower had bl

****Update**** There’s now black mold growing under the floors and on the walls and we are starting to feel the physical affects. Ac issues was fixed temporarily and now it’s starting to leak again. They never fixed the floors like they said they would which is causing the mold smell become stronger. I put in a work order early December and nothing! All they care about is sending text messages to remind of rent and telling people if they don’t pay rent after 3 days they will get evicted. It’s freaking sad. Now I have to scramble and move out this place!! I’ve had to move from the Morton for mold as well!!! They want to buy all these apartment buildings and not do the real work!!! DO BETTER!!! Over all good experience. Jamie was such a gem when I was considering this apartment before signing my lease. She was very quick to return my messages and schedule touring appointments. The apartment itself is very clean, but a few things needed maintenance after I moved in. But all fixable issues.

I like my apartment but I’m getting very frustrated because I have put in multiple work orders and nothing has been fixed, works orders from months ago. The parking has now become a problem. The extra hidden 85$ fee I was told by Sabrina is for parking and pest control. If I’m paying for parking why am parking damn near in the guest parking and I’m handicapped. This is a quiet small apartments complex and I like that, but these issues need to be fixed.

I’ve been at this apartment complex for sometime now and have always kept low maintenance as a tenant by trying to do my best at being understanding of situation’s and how they’re handled but in this case, I’m in my apartment complex with it being 81° because my AC unit has decided to quit working and ridiculously I’m not able to get a hold of anybody from my leasing office to help out in this case of an emergency. leaving me to have to reach out to a random number in hopes it’s somebody from the maintenance department that I’ve contacted in the past. Which it was but they also can’t get a hold of anybody from the leasing office, so it resulted in them bringing a small wall unit which isn’t keeping one room 76° so sadly, I have to cancel my plans of having family and friends over for memo
