The August Apartments

The August is a great place to live. The apartments have beautiful hardwood floors and sleek new appliances. Management has always been very responsive to any requests. They've gone out of their way to help us multiple times - they're really wonderful. And the location is absolutely unbeatable. It's an idyllic little nook in Dupont Circle.

Ended up having to live here under unforeseen circumstances with another apartment from Bernstein Management. At first this place seemed great, updated apartment great location. Slowly I came to realize there was an extreme cockroach problem coming out of my washer dryer unit which they did try to solve, however they never seemed to go away. The ceiling leaked twice from two different spots and there was barely any sunlight on my first floor apartment. If these things weren't bad enough there were SO many hidden fees that were not agreed on in the contract, but this seems like its typical of Bernstein Management. I know that they tried to help me as best as possible but at the end of the day it really felt like they were wiping money from my wallet any way they could find.

Reasonable prices in a great area of the city. I love our apartment. Maintenance always gets done quickly and the staff are very kind. We have lived here for 3 years and we’re going to keep living here as long as we can

Wonderful apartment complex in a really can't beat area of DC. Many of the apartments are newly renovated and the staff here are very responsive and helpful!

The August staff isn’t helpful.
