I rented a 1st floor 1b1b about a year and overall my experience has been quite pleasant and the community itself is beautifully maintained. My balcony view is prefect. it faces a forest and provided a high level of privacy. I could leave the curtains open all day without worrying about anyone passing by. However, this might be different for units facing the street. The only part that was a bit frustrating was the move-out process. The deposit refund check had two names on it, and the bank wouldn’t let me cash it. I called the leasing office three or four times to ask if they could remove one name from the check, repeating the same explanation each time. Unfortunately, the issue wasn’t resolved over the phone until I went the leasing office in person. I really appreciated the kindness an
First off, you can't bash an apartment complex for issues with mail delivery, take that up with the United States Postal Service and Amazon 😅. I have had packages lost, but they are eventually found and by then Amazon or whoever has already sent me a replacement and/or refunded my money, so this might actually be a blessing 😂. Secondly, if you have bugs in your apartment you lack cleanliness. We live in a world with bugs and it's not up to management to keep your house clean, (although they can do extra bug spraying if necessary) pests are pests. In addition, neighbors are neighbors, you'll have good and bad anywhere you go. From personal experience, any situations where I have encountered issues with "people", management has stepped up to do all they can to rectify the problem. I have bee
Be aware this place. I just stayed here only 3 months and I got terrible experience. If you’re rent first floor congratulations you got free zoo ticket. There are a lot of insects out there and they are all over your house. You may wake up at night with an insect or lizard on you while you sleep. You can live together with lizard or any different spider and bugs with your cold and dark apartment. Also you’re going to jump every night because local train visit to your house every 2 hours. Also be prepared for the barking of dogs from the residents. While you are sleeping (if you can)in your bed at night, thieves can damage your vehicle and steal your belongings. Apartment management also is terrible. They never help you. If your contract has expired or you want to move somewhere take pictu
Upon moving to Kelton Station I initially left a raving review and am sad to have to come back and change that. Overall, we have enjoyed the peacefulness and amenities at Kelton Station, but have experienced serious issues that management doesn’t really seem to be interested in actually helping us with. After barely six months of living here we noticed mold growth in our closet that damaged over $2,000 worth of our personal items - vintage handbags, shoes, clothing, my husband’s military dress uniforms - just to name a few things. Pictures included don’t come close to showing the full extent as I have over 130 of them! I immediately notified management. A property manager & maintenance person did come and inspect our apartment and seemed dumbfounded by the mold growth, stating the couldn’
Hands down the worst place I’ve ever lived. Maintenance takes forever, you’re better off fixing it yourself. Your mail will get lost or stolen 99% of the time and management could not care less nor do the carriers. Have fun walking across the entire complex to park your car daily because residents have 4+ vehicles. The best part is going back to your car the next day to find it broken into by the criminals strolling through or the crack dealers you live next door to. The grills are always empty or people leave them on and they blow up in your face, best to bring your own tank and fire extinguisher. Lastly, save your money for move out because they will charge you for everything under the sun to make up for the subsidized rent they accept that doesn’t get paid.
