The Annex

I have been a resident at The Annex for five months now, and while there is much to appreciate about the individual units and the location, there is a significant disconnect between the "luxury" marketing and the daily reality of the building’s upkeep. The apartments themselves are undeniably spacious, filled with natural light, and provide a quiet, peaceful environment with unbeatable access to Elmwood Village and downtown Buffalo. While the management markets these as "elegant apartments built to go above and beyond," the reality is more grounded; the appointments and finishes are modern and perfectly suitable, but they are not above par in terms of elegance. We just relocated from Atlanta a few months ago and I love this place! It’s close to the Buffalo social scene, stores, shops, and pet friendly, and in a quiet area. The 1 bedroom is spacious and modern. Everyone I met here thus far is friendly.

Pros: Quiet, Location, In unit washer/dryer, Amenities such as gym and dog wash, maintenance issues resolved quickly, intercom system Cons: Everything SC said + aggressive emails and no recycling option

Very timely response from management… Maintenance are very knowledgeable in what they are doing. All in all I’m enjoying my time living here
