I don’t typically leave reviews, but after living at The Alamitos in Long Beach for a little over a year, I felt this one was well deserved. I truly enjoy living here. Like any downtown area, there can be occasional frustrations—but that’s simply part of downtown living. Being close to DTLA while still having that “big small-city” feel is something I’ve come to really appreciate about Long Beach. Additionally, living close to the beach has been one of the coolest experiences I've ever had! What truly makes this place stand out, however, is the exceptional leasing team. I truly enjoy living at The Alamitos! I’ve been here for several months and everyone is incredibly friendly. Nancy, the leasing specialist is a true gem. She made my tour and move-in process so easy. I look forward to seeing her in the office when I walk by. Rene, the maintenance professional, has gone above and beyond every time I need a small fix or repair. He’s also amazing with my dog and takes the time to greet him each time he enters my unit. 100% give this property a chance!

Nancy has been amazing to work with at The Alamitos. She’s friendly, very knowledgeable, and always goes above and beyond to support residents and the community. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance she’s been quick to respond and resolve things efficiently. She makes the leasing process and communication feel easy and stress free. Highly recommend working with her.

Update Nov 2024 - they replied AFTER I moved out. Terrible place. Update: Oct 2024 - New management Harbor Group Management cycles in and out new faces often. They tried to take away non-digital (check) payments for rent which is against the law. Broken AC pipe flooded for 6 hours before someone showed up. They did not hire a pro to dehumidify after (black mold concerns). I had to ask for a dehumidifier and they didn't turn it on when they left. My parking spot had calcium drip onto my car from the roof and they reimbursed me as a "one time courtesy"... Rent is still $2900 for a single. CA rented Vagabond across the street for homeless and they're loud day and night. Break-ins and damaged amenities, what else can go wrong here. Charged late rent fee 4 times when paid on time always correct

This is what our property management team allowed us to live in… in a landfill. Because they refused to collect trash in a timely manner and completely neglected their job duties, we now have an infestation of gnats and baby flies all over the building. I now have so many in my apartment as a result!!!!! Before the switch of management, this place was decent. The two current property managers here ignore our emails and complaints and are completely incompetent and have literally turned this complex into a dump.
