RODENT INFESTATION!!! Inhabitable living conditions!!! THEY ARE BREAKING THE LAW! This has been on going for 2 months now as far as we know. My husband and I have been loyal tenants here for 3 years, never late on rent, and now we have a 7 month baby boy WHERE RODENT FECES WERE FOUND IN HIS DIAPER HAMPER AND TOY HAMPER. We have reached out to the owners of the complex multiple times asking for accommodations and options to get us out of this situation. NO ONE IS RESPONDING WITH ANY ACCOMMODATIONS! I had been looking for apartments in Baton Rouge for a few months when I came across The Addison and was very surprised at how nice the online pictures and amenities looked. As I am currently living in KY and moving to BR in July for school, I was solely trusting on the online reviews, pictures & conversations with the apartment staff as to how the apartment would be and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED! When getting my keys & paperwork this past weekend, Justine Williams was SO KIND & HELPFUL through the process and answered all of my questions regarding move-in, amenities, Etc. After completing my move-in walkthrough, I met again with Justine and we discussed any immediate needs/maintenance issues in the apartment in which she said these would be taken care of. This apartment complex looks nice on the outside, but do not let that fool you. From misleading tours to delayed refunds and poor maintenance, my experience—and the experiences of others—have been nothing short of frustrating. UPDATE: Vehicle VANDALIZED and PARTS STOLEN on this property. Broken glass, stolen rim and tire. $3,193 in DAMAGES! NO security. NO cameras. INSUFFICIENT lighting. Management claims they’re “doing the best they can.” Funny…because basic lighting and secure doors seem impossible, yet expensive landscaping happens instantly, such as uprooting a random palm tree. While they stall, residents deal with vandalism and theft. This property is wide open to CRIME. FOUR YEARS OF NEGLIGENCE, SAFETY ISSUES AND BROKEN PROMISES. THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT BE HOUSING PEOPLE.
