The Abbey at Stone Oak

I had a horrible moving out experience at the Abbey at stone Oak. They took my deposit because they said I had two stains in my carpet. Note these stains could not be seen on the outside of the carpet they flip the carpet and charge me for two stains that you could not see from the outside. I asked them to show me where the stains were in the carpet what locations… they could not tell me. Mind you, you wont be able to see the stains on the outside but they can magically say some company found stains. They are blown up pics of whatever spots in carpet. The property manager was really rude and super unprofessional. She continually made rude comments while speaking to me. I had a cleaner come in and clean my apartment before I left and the property manager stated that my cleaner was not a pr

I have been a tenant of the Abby for 4 years now. Great place to live with tremendous value. Today Mr. Roy, a member of the awesome maintenance team, was checking on one of our neighbors' ac unit. He noticed our ac was not working correctly either. He proactively knocked politely and checked on our apartment. He discovered a wire had burned. He promptly repaired the issue. No hassle just took care of us. This is the level of service you will get with the Abby. Thanks Mr. Roy for keeping us cool in the Texas heat. You are the best.

This place is AMAZING!!! I moved here in June, 2025. Move in was easy, the apt was clean and well kept. I have had a few work orders like the door bell didn’t work, the fan was blowing the wrong way, clogged drain. They have fixed every request within 24 hours of me submitting a request!!! The location is amazing, the community is quiet. This is a great place to live, we are happy here. Thanks Abbey for making a hard life transition just a little easier. PS the layouts of these apts are unique and I have gotten so many compliments by visitors that have come to visit.

I’ve had a wonderful experience living at this apartment complex over the past two years. The property has the charm and elegance of an Italian villa, which immediately caught my attention. The apartment itself was the perfect fit for me, and having my own garage space was a huge bonus—I’ve loved having the peace of mind knowing my car is secure. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Everyone has been incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The management is WONDERFUL - always so helpful and willing to greet you with a smile each time you walk in their door. Any maintenance requests I had were handled quickly and efficiently. I had a great experience living here the past ~1.5 years. The location is amazing, close to the highway and plenty of different fast food and restaurants nearby, grocery shopping, on top of a hill overlooking Stone Oak and Far Northside, etc. The maintenance crew was amazing as well. Parking was reinforced. Sure, sometimes the gate was stuck open, or you can sometimes hear neighbor noises on a Friday night and some might think the walls are thin... but I found it reasonable for an apartment complex where you're sharing 2 walls. It really depends on the neighbor. But overall, I found it very reasonable living here, and I met plenty of friendly neighbors. Would recommend, and if I wasn't moving, I'd stay here for the next couple of years.
