Customer Reviews
I’ve lived in this building for nearly four years, and for the most part, my experience has been great. The staff here are truly wonderful—always polite, professional, and present. There’s always someone at the front desk, and they go out of their way to be helpful. The location is another huge plus. If you’re a GW student or just want to be close to downtown D.C., it doesn’t get more convenient. You’re near campus, the metro, Georgetown, and surrounded by great restaurants and grocery stores. The building itself is older, but that never bothered me. What did become a problem—and the reason I’m writing this review—is the MICE. 🐁 🐭 Until recently, I had only heard of the horror stories from other tenants and even the concierge. But as soon as I started preparing to move out, the mice mad
Khoa, one the receptionists at this building, is misogynistic, hostile, aggressive, and shockingly unprofessional. When I came to pick up a package, Khoa was unable to locate it and immediately blamed the delivery person, even though he had no proof. When I calmly pointed out that the package might be in the mountain of packages on the floor, he began using profane, degrading language. He insulted me personally, saying things like “you are ugly and that’s why you can’t get a boyfriend” and “your mouth stinks.” He also pretended to spit in my face. I am a petite woman, which might have made me think he can intimidate me. When I asked who was on duty when the package arrived (which had been delivered days earlier), he initially refused to tell me, claiming it wasn’t his job. He then pointed
The tenant below me has been chain-smoking inside their unit for over five months, and my entire apartment has been flooded with toxic cigarette smoke every single day. My health has suffered as a result of the constant secondhand exposure and the building management has done absolutely nothing. No remediation. No compensation. Just indifference. Instead of helping, they had the audacity to offer me a different unit with a rent increase. Then they tried to trap me into signing another year-long lease in a smoke-infested building. It’s disgraceful. This place is a health hazard, run by people who clearly do not care about tenant safety or well-being. I’m moving out, and I cannot stress this enough: Avoid this building at all costs. You’ll regret ever signing here.
Aside from how old the building is, I love my apartment. I've been here for over a year. It's clean, spacious and comfy. Maintenance is always helpful and prompt when any issues arise which is rare. The reception staff is awesome, friendly and always available. The fact that the door is always locked and no one can enter without a fob is great. I feel so safe living here as a single woman. It's quiet, clean and the neighborhood is too. Everyone keeps to themselves pretty much. Nothing is perfect and there are a few issues but when I report them, they are addressed.
Wonderful apartment building. The leasing office has been great, very kind and helpful if/when you have questions. The staff does a great job keeping the place tidy and clean. The apartment rooms are very good, also well kept. The building is in a fantastic part of DC, close to grocery stores (~6-8 minute walk), near the Metro, and also close to the river and Georgetown. Very happy here
