Texas Roadrunner Realty | Flat Fee Full-Service Listing

I've long felt that paying real estate agents 3% of the sell price for listing your home was ridiculous - especially today when the way you connect with buyers is by having good photos on Zillow. I was surprised when I found that Texas Roadrunner Realty (Jonathan Yokley) was offering a flat rate listing fee that would be around 1% of the sell price. Still skeptical, I interviewed him and two other traditional realtors (including one who is also the broker and only charges 1.9%). He impressed me in the interview and made it easy to choose him to list our house. Jonathan is enthusiastic and enjoyable to work with. We interviewed two percentage-based Realtors, both of whom I respect very much, before interviewing Jonathan. Despite charging about $12,000 less than the other two, he showed up to the listing interview more prepared, and even recommended a higher sales price, which the home ended up selling for. His team took fantastic photos, which included 360-degree photos and a virtual tour, all of which post to the MLS and the big real estate marketing sites. He was with us closely every step of the way from listing to showings to escrow to closing. He's got it all: knowledge of the market and sales process, responsiveness, politeness, and professionalism.
