My wife and I had our home designed and built by T. E. James Custom Homes. After looking at the other builders in the area and comparing the quality we chose T. E. James. The ability to combine the features of their other model home designs into our design created for us the perfect home to fit our needs. We commuted from Miami every other weekend to check on the construction and to visit their office. Tommy (T. E. James) and his wife along with project managers and office staff are great people. We were always notified of what was happening with the build as the construction went on. The result was an amazing house, modified to our design, beautiful inside and out. We just completed building our family home in Highland Lakes Reserve with TE James & it was not what we imagined or hoped for. We were promised 3D renditions that were never delivered. They made countless mistakes, some never corrected. Both completion dates were not met. We are already under contract to repair & undo the poor work they refused to take responsibility for. I question their business practices & will never forget the way they turned building a dream home into more than a yearlong nightmare! I would NOT recommend!
