This company is known for shoddy, subpar building quality. Dozens of building inspectors showcase defective framing, defective roofing, defective foundations, defective flooring, lack of insulation on brand new builds with ticket prices of over a million dollars. Avoid this builder. If you have no other choice then hire your own inspector and certifying official.

I have had an outrageously poor experience with Brad and his team in the warranty department. When I purchased the home, part of the purchase price included having a viable base for our lawn (bermuda sod). The team did a sub par job with instalation. The left large pieces of concrete, sand, building supplies etc. There are spots north of two inches where sod was installed that do no connect. Since April the grass has not needed to be mowed as it has not grown. The only part that has grown is the weeds that cannot be treated until the grass takes. We have heard from multiple companies that it needs to be replaced. To try and work with the Taylor Morrison we've had sprinklers running everyday since March with no luck. I am a local realtor in the Charlotte, NC market. I have worked with and toured many new home communities and of course pre existing ones. Taylor Morrison may not be the cheapest option but they always have great incentives, are buyer agent friendly, plus the homes are worth every penny. The upgrades, features, and details included in the homes are top tier compared to competitors. A huge bonus is that they have wonderful Community Sales Managers and leaders that Support them! If you, a loved one or client is thinking of buying a home. As A realtor I would highly recommend you taking a look at Taylor Morrison communities. They have single family, town homes, 55+, rentals and Luxury.

These people will build things wrong and then try to make excuses why they can't or won't fix it... terrible people that do not stand behind their work

Wobbly walls, gas and water leaks, all found by home inspectors. This company, instead of acknowledging their mistakes and fixing them, attempts to file suit against the inspector and get his license revoked. Be wary of scammers like these.
