Tall Oaks Apartments and Villas

My refrigerator has been broke since January. I am a freshly postpartum and breastfeeding mother, I am unable to store my milk in the fridge and this issue has caused me a lot of emotional distress. Management tried blaming us for the issue. I just want our fridge fixed. I have emailed, messaged, made 7 requests to management, they still have not fixed or replaced it, this is so frustrating, and I am at my ends meet with this issue! My fridge sits at 50 degrees for the past two months!

I’m starting to regret moving here. I’ve been here almost two months now, and the maintenance team is HORRIBLE. My garbage disposal has been stopping up since I moved in. Maintenance has been out twice, and still hasn’t resolved the issue. Now it’s come to the point that I can’t manage anymore, and I’m being forced to go through the weekend with dirty water sitting in my sink. This can cause bugs not to mention the existing ants infestation. I’m being charged a pest control fee monthly, yet I haven’t had a visit. Buying raid isn’t helping, and it’s becoming costly. Now I have to order out for dinner because I can’t utilize my kitchen without the sink working properly. Oh and since I’m here, there’s a major water leak problem with this complex. I moved to Tall Oaks in August with my children.I had no air for over a month through August and September.My unit FLOODED and the SECOND time my only option was to move to a “renovated “ unit that was $300 more a month.(No regards to damaged property) Since moving to said “renovated “ unit I can’t count the number of maintenance requests I’ve had to put in. I can’t get the water in my name because per Rockdale County there is a ACTIVE leak that’s been going on in my unit prior to me moving in. I currently have mold all under my kitchen sink from leaks. I’ve had to clear my cabinets and fridge throwing away food a few times from being invaded with ants.Today a contractor showed up at my door to “resurface “ my tubs for the SECOND time at 4pm saying they could fix the tubs but we couldn’t

I'm leaving this review for a family member! This place is disgusting! She has had mold in her apartment for over a year. Her dishwasher doesn't work the light sockets in both Bathrooms don't work, there is a hole in the bathroom wall that was made by maintenance that hasn't been fix in over a year. While sitting on the toilet you can look directly through the hole in the wall and see the washer and dryer! They don't fix anything ever. Dumpster is overflowing, so there's rats everywhere. This morning we had to call the paramedic because someone slipped and fell in the bathroom because the ceiling is leaking water. The emergency maintenance number is useless, no one ever answers it. I really liked my apartment but they are horrible. My apartment flood every time it rain. They don't fix anything. I been without air 3 weeks now. My apartment have mold growing from the sink and they don't care they just want your money. I lost hundreds of dollars in clothes bc of the mildew and mold. But I have officially moved. Don't do it run away or go somewhere to someone who appreciates your money. Check with code enforcement before renting. You will be happy that you did. I wish someone would have told me that before I moved in. I lost a lot of things because of the condition of the apartment.
