I normally don’t do reviews, but living here was miserable. You can use your hard earned money for a better apartment complex somewhere else. This place is miserable. I do not recommend this apartment complex. The walls are extremely thin, and noise from neighbors is constant and intrusive. You can hear stomping, snoring, loud conversations, moving furniture, and even your neighbors adult activities- which makes it very difficult to have privacy or quiet. The walls in this apartment are extremely thin — you can hear neighbors talking, walking, and going about their daily routines very clearly. It is very uncomfortable hearing your neighbors with any noise you could possibly hear- next to you or below you. Something to strongly consider if noise levels matter to you when choosing a place to
Ive waited be living here 9 months before adding my review. Let's start with Management: very professional and knowledgeable. Professional and ept at their job. Kate the manager is a no bs kinda gal. I love that she listens and responds in kind to requests and needs of the occupants. Will is just as great, personable, and professional. Rich the head of maintenance and his team take pride in their jobs. I've put 2 work orders in an both were addressed promptly and professionally. On to the buildings. Are they older? Yes but extremely well cared for. I felt like I moved into a brand new place. My wife, myself, and our 2 fur babies are extremely happy with not just maryland Management but with the quaintness of Sykesville and surrounding area. I would definitely suggest giving the place
The apartments are located in a decent neighborhood, and the units themselves are okay. But the way the management treats tenants — especially families — is truly disappointing. Miss Kate, in particular, seems to have a strong dislike for children. Families constantly receive unnecessary warnings for ordinary child behavior — playing, laughing, even just being outside. The attitude feels cold, unwelcoming, and biased. Even more concerning is the management’s disregard for safety. There was an incident when the roof caught fire, and despite this serious situation, tenants’ requests for follow-up safety checks were ignored. Many residents were left feeling unsafe and unheard. This place could be much better if the management showed even a basic level of care and respect. But under the cur
Overall, I have no complaints about the building itself — the apartment is quite spacious, with large windows, and everything is fine in terms of layout and condition. However, for such a high rental price, there are absolutely no amenities for comfortable living on the property: no pool, no gym, and not even a decent playground. What was especially disappointing is the attitude toward children. The manager, Miss Kate, gives the impression that she simply doesn’t like kids — they’re not allowed to run, play, or even talk during the day because it supposedly “bothers everyone.” Complaints about normal child behavior are addressed immediately, while my concerns about neighbors smoking under our windows were completely ignored. Unfortunately, this complex is not a family-friendly place — pr
Hello everyone, I lived here for 2 years with my family, and there was always some kind of disrespect for the children, and every time I did wonderful things for all sorts of nonsense, I moved out of this apartment, and they sent me a summons to court that I still owe them $ 1,147, I called the office and said where my deposit was, and they said they would return it within a month, but a month later I received a summons to court that I still owe money, they took the deposit and still wanted $ 1,147 (1,760 + $ 1,147). When I ate this apartment, no one inspected the apartment with me after moving out, they took some photos, I never saw them, they said that everything would be fine, but in the end they deceived us. Fraudsters, at least they did not say that they did not want to return the dep
