Sutton Park Apartments

I've lived here for a little over a year & I really don't have many complaints. Cons: A deal breaker for those who are elderly or have joint issues. The parking lot truly sucks, and if you are elderly or have an elderly mother/father that visit you. I'd highly suggest looking elsewhere. For anyone else, the worst case is you have to park on the street (when there's no parking) and walk down the parking lot. Never really a huge problem for me, I'm in the city a lot so I'm totally used to a little stroll. Another issue with the lot is that you are fully expected to have all of your guest park on the street and walk to your apartment. Would give a 0 if I could. I lived there for almost 2 years. Everyone that lived in my complex got an eviction notice to move out in 30 days. They did this to renovate and update the apartments, which is great bit didn't even offer for tenants to transfer to a renovated apartment. This was also done at Christmas so move out date was December 31st, ruined my Christmas for my children and grandbabies.The staff is extremely rude. Jake is unprofessional, I kept receiving threatening emails that they were going to file an eviction even though I had already moved out. So I attempted to call him on the phone number he had called me from to meet for my requested move out inspection to let him know that I was receiving those emails and he literally was extremely rude, wouldn't answer my questions

*Update to previous post (see below): After living here about 5 months now, I continue to be treated well by the company and have seen a consistent effort to not only maintain the property but, to take a stance on reinforcing expectations that their tenets, be treated with respect and care as well. (Previous post) Jake was awesome showing me available units. These units have been getting some TLC under new management and they really seem to care about their tenants wellbeing. They made me feel valued right off the bat and the neighbors have been just as kind.

I will NEVER recommend anyone live for this management at any property. Lived there for 2 years (moved out May/June ‘23). New management gave the building a much needed facelift. However, for well over a year and a half, my apartment suffered from a major leak during rain to the carpets in the bedroom and living room so basically both windows. I had close to 40 maintenance tickets open to have them suction water out of the rooms. I was paying full price for an apartment that was completely unlivable and when multiple other units became available in the building I requested to move so they could address the problem fully and was met with no word whatsoever. Have lived here over 2 years. Townhomes are very nice. Maintenance requests always get addressed rather quickly. And the normal maintenance is done routinely. Only issue is, since new management started parking is awful. As much as I pay, there should be atleast one designated parking space in front of my unit, since parking passes are required and limited.
