Sundowner Apartments

Whoever the lady is that “manages” Sundowner properties & answers the phone was the rudest person I’ve EVER talked to in ABQ. No joke. I’m a CSW helping a sweet unhoused senior find housing. I’m polite & get along with almost anyone. After inquiring on openings, I got off the phone to show the property to my client. They liked it, so we called back for more info. She was immediately pissed I called back (??). After huffing and puffing for some unknown reason, the call “dropped” on me mid-sentence. So, I called a 3rd time and she was even more upset. “Listen I manage (multiple) properties!” … umm ok? So, politely, I explained the call dropped and I was calling back to get more info on the application process, fee & payment form. She answered curtly and then hung up on me mid-sentence! She o

My wife and I were approved for an apartment we told the owner that it needed an oven we went to ask about it all he said was he was giving our deposit back no explanation why

The staff and tenants here are friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is a strong sense of community at the Sundowner, among both the staff and the tenants, and everyone gets along quite well. There's plenty of amenities and recreational activities provided to keep one busy, in addition to the property being kept clean, and maintained rather excellently. 10/10, would recommend!

I am a Guardian and my client has not had gas in her apartment for over a month due to a fire in another unit. This renting agency gives their tenants the run around and do not tend to problems in their units. I would not recommend anyone moving in to this place.
