Sun 'N Lake - Southern Homes

This company is building 2 homes Directly across the street from me. Their workers left nails all over the road and my tired took one. I reached out to them to have them own up and cover the costs of replacing just the ONE tire. I took pictures of the nail in my tire, pictures and videos of the nails on the street in front of my home. they did not care and of course took the easy road out and said nope cant prove it was us.

We began our home purchase in August 2024, our home was completed in January 2025. This is our first new build. Our builder Kaydden was phenomenal with his communication and understood our situation needing to close on a certain date due to selling our home. He even put a banner on our lawn wishing us a happy retirement!!! That extra touch meant a lot to us. The only hiccup was we were told we were not in an HOA but found out we in fact were. This was stressful as we have 3 dogs and can only put up a black chain link fence- 4 foot tall. Make sure you contact Sun N Lake to clarify the bylaws. But overall we would build here again if we could work with David (sales) and Kaydden they work hard and care about what you need and deliver a great home! Highly recommend Southern Homes.

All areas are subject to Sun Lake. I do not advise anyone to buy. They will control you. The backyard. Everything you do, even the level of your wall. Your privacy. They make money to spoil your mood. The laws This area is very dark, and there is no proper lighting. Look at the other areas; they are beautifully lit. Finally, they installed some very poor-quality lights, paid for by taxpayers, and they are completely useless. This is nonsense. Please work on lighting the area properly and in a way that resembles the city's lighting, not this rubbish they've installed..

To whom it may concern: I am interested in purchasing the property 6002 Nevada St. Sebring FL 33872. I have been working with my realtor Ms. Mirenda Hernandez since July 2024. She has referred me to several homes from Southern Homes. I am even renting a Savannah model that she got me. My wish is that she continues to represent me throughout my entire home buying process that she’s been doing since last year. It is very unfortunate that this process has been corrupted by Adriana Mellas, a representative of Southern Homes. We love their home models and we are very excited about the property, but I feel there has been retaliation for not accepting my realtor Ms. Mirenda. We have been denied viewing Move and Ready properties, they have even told us they are already sold when that is not true.
