Sumter Square

I've been living here since 2017. It's been pretty good. I do like that it's close to my community, down town and the airport. Maintenance usually answer our concerns quick, which I truly appreciate. In the last year or so they've been beautifying the whole community. They redid the tennis court and redrew into it pickleball yeey. They also removed bigger bushes by the townhomes which definitely brought more light into our townhouse. They've been more active with the community where they created events (pool party, holiday events, etc). My son loves their playroom; it's not huge but it's definitely big enough where I can workout at the gym and still see him through the see-through glass. I usually leave a positive review and I have with this place before but now it’s getting out of control. This neighborhood is not beginning to feel safe! BOTH me and my boyfriend’s cars got broken into a couple years ago along with multiple others. we sent emails about what the plan was for safety concerns and no response. Since then my boyfriend’s car has been stolen and broke into twice more! The police said others in our neighborhood have been hit as well. The complex doesn’t have any cameras in the parking lots so they don’t have to be liable for anything - still no plans to keep our neighborhood safe. I had to buy a tracker and hide it in my car just in case something happened. I’ve been here at least 3 years going on another and the apartment complex has been great outside of this MA

I never leave a review anywhere but definitely I don't recommend living here, at the beginning the staff is very friendly after you sign the lease they change specially if you want to move out , they will find a way to make you pay for new carpets based on wear and tear alone. I lived 2 years here and I put in $200 securitydeposit + $300 pet security deposit even though I move out in December, after a month they just send me a email with a balance to pay. they make me pay $306 because they said my security deposit wasn't enoug to cover the expenses for the new carpet, sewer stormwater and water charges.... the apartments are old and specially if you leave on the first floor it will be a nightmare for living there you will not being able to sleep because how bad the old wood sounds when t

A very old complex with dilapidated apartments inside. We're thinking of moving out as soon as possible because of the exorbitant prices; the apartments don't justify the cost. Everything inside needs repair; the wood attracts insects and mosquitoes. The manager is polite.It does not meet the needs of the residents due to a significant lack of public facilities and children's amenities. Maintenance staff do not follow instructions precisely.

There are no facilities here for children. The children are forced to play in front of their homes. There is no regular monitoring of insects inside homes, and there are several insects inside the homes. The complex is very old and has only been restored on the outside; there has been no restoration of the interior. The maintenance staff here follow instructions precisely and are working quickly to finish. You should probably think twice before moving here.
