Summit East Apartments- Senior Community

DO NOT MOVE HERE.. Take your time and look around for an apartment before you think about moving to Summit East Apartments.. This place is terrible. You don’t know what your rent is going to be every month.. They will also shut the water off without giving you any notice which is disgusting because they don’t know if you’re using the bathroom or if you’re taking a shower , etc..They will cut the water OFF WITHOUT ANY NOTICE AHEAD OF TIME.. DO NOT MOVE TO SUMMIT EAST APARTMENTS… DO NOT MOVE TO SUMMIT EAST APARTMENTS..

On Oct. 24, 2025 I applied for an apartment which requires a $50. application fee. Going through the process, when it came time to pay the $50, I also saw $200 on there also. So, I called Mr. Antonio - Manager and asked him about it, and he told me to only check the $50.00 for the application fee, which I did. As soon as I completed the application and submitted it, they charge my credit card an additional $200 that I would NEVER would have agreed to. After reading the reviews, I see that they have done this to other people. I am going to dispute this with my credit card company THIS PRACTICE IS UNETHICAL. To take an additional $200.00 without consent. You should have to sign somewhere for this to be done. Mr. Antonio knew they were going to charge my credit card an additional $200.0

Summit East Apartment - Senior Community. I enjoy my home at Summit East Apartments. It's quite family friendly, in my building and others we all look out for each other's needs and safety. if I have extra I share. Everyone can't get out as I can. We personally know each other names. Sometimes mail is left outside We set it inside or at one another door. We have a line of communication, someone lets me know I put your mail at your door or I have your package. We keep our eyes open to what going on in our community area. When I return home July 4/2025 about 8pm. The hallway was smokey, I began to knock on doors 2 apartments on my fl. and 2 on the other fl. making sure someone hadn't left food cooking on the stove because they went to sleep. Safety First is important.

I paid the $50 application fee and received only vague, unhelpful replies. Then they suddenly requested an additional $200, which was never mentioned anywhere in the online application. When I asked for clarification, I was ignored completely. Very disappointing experience — feels deceptive and untrustworthy. Proceed with caution.

I feel safe at Summit East. I do feel that management should do more about all the illegal parking that goes on at the sight both day and night. I realize that it's also our responsibility to get cars towed, but management needs to be proactive during the day. The rent is reasonable; most maintenance issues are addressed promptly and on-site management is accessible.
