Summit Chase Apartments

Summit Chase Apartments will truly be missed. My family and I downsized from a 3-bedroom to a 2-bedroom at Summit Chase in November 2020, and we happily called it home for nearly 7 years until our recent move in August 2025. Our experience has been nothing short of excellent, thanks to the caring and competent staff who consistently go above and beyond for residents. Mrs. Willan, the property manager, has always prioritized the safety, security, and well-being of the community. From the moment she began managing the property, she demonstrated professionalism, empathy, and outstanding customer service. Run! Mold, dirty and rusty halls. Paint and buildings are very dated. They don't renew your lease when you report mold. Frequent crime on property, and they don't let Tennants know. The woman working in the office has lied on Tennants. She's very unprofessional. Complete nightmare. Family owned business, and they stick together and lie together. Happy to be out of there.

Pros The rooms were a decent size The apartments are reasonably priced Cons The environment during the summer and some times during the winter is bad. I have video of fights and police chases. (If you would like to see them feel free to message me on here) My car was ransacked. ( I was told by the office clerk that I had to file a police report. Saftey Warning: The original mail lady was pistol wiped and robbed, so be careful. Tips on staying here: Do not stick anything to the walls. The paint is extremely cheap and it will pull off the paint. Buy additional carpet to put over the original (if you have kids). My kids were forced to stay in due to everything they endured at this complex, so you can imagine how they left the carpet. My children and I were glad to leave the ghetto.

I lived here for 3 years. The price is reasonable for the amount of apartment space that you will get. There’s not much for the kids to do on the property but it’s so close to parks and other places for kids to go that it was never an issue. It was also fairly quiet and I would often forget I was in Wilmington. I never had any roaches but I had other issues that I’m convinced were just a part of where the apartment is located and having not so cleanly neighbors. Wendy, the property manager is the BEST thing about this place. If I had any issues I knew I could call/ email her and she did what she could to resolve the issue.

I love Wendy she's definitely always on top of everything... such a Blessed woman... I thank her every time I see her.. The maintenance is quick.. I can't complain the fix what's on the ticket Sean's a wonderful maintenance man... Glad we live So close by.. Nice pick of a Dwelling for me..
