Summer's Bend On the Ashley

What a great community. Located on the Ashley River, the area is full of live oaks and mohawk palms. Also, close to the community is a city park with a ballfield and a Publix. Just up Dorchester Rd is a country park with a dog 🐶 park and then a library. There is also a Lowes nearby. Great location if you have to travel because the airport is only 15 minutes away. If you are former military, the Commissary is only 10 minutes away.

Nice neighborhood THOUGHT it would be a great place for myself and grandkids, but it’s NOT the HOA president seems to be racist. My neighbor is racist as well. He’s complained several times about my 1 and 3 year old grand kids that I have custody of. He wants them to be on a leash apparently he wants NO noise no running yelling or crying what comes with TODDLERS. I work and kids go to school and daycare which means everyone is gone most of the day. I’ve never been this uncomfortable in a home/community before. If you have younger kids I would NOT recommend purchasing or renting.
