Summerfield Place Apartments

Moved into my apartment 90 days ago and have been in love ever since. From the initial leasing staff interactions. The helpful and attentive maintenance team. I was sold from the first site visit and only have great things to say about Katie, Brittany & the whole team at Summerfield! ^_____^

So far, so good but the complex really needs to provide an online method to communicate with the front office. Most of us work and have to rely on someone at the complex answering the phone if weed need to speak to someone. Renters should be able to email management with questions and/or concerns.

Summerfield Place is ideally located near so many employers, transportation routes and public amenities, it is ashamed management does not take better care of the property. The lower floor apartment we leased had ground water seeping into the carpet and vinyl, there had plumbing work done without permitting or inspection (and probably by unlicensed persons), our natural gas bill was double what it should have been for a one-bedroom unit, and there were continual problems with the air conditioner as well. Not all of the units are trashy. Some have been updated and are much nicer. Make sure you get one of those. Also, make sure you have your attorney review your lease- it may be the best money ever spent.

I unfortunately broke my contract with this apartment back in February of 2025 because I lost a job and couldn't find a new job in time. This was the first apartment I moved into when I moved out of my parent's place. I was in a studio apartment that had a lease of $789. I believe it was a 450sq unit. I like having a murphy bed though I had it down most of the time. That thing was stiff so I used a memory foam topper. Despite how small the in-unit washer and dryer is, it was overall useful and I couldn't imagine not having one. An ice maker included with the refrigerator made me feel like a king. All you needed to do was wash it out every now and again. Maintenance was quick to respond. During my time there I was at work so I opted to allow them to enter the unit and repair whatever broke.
