Strathmore Apartments

I wish I can take Strathmore with me to every city I move to. I lived here for a year in 1 bedroom, it was amazing. I was sad to move out of the apartment. Sunlight you get is amazing, bedroom was spacious, high ceilings, the laundry room was huge, the bathroom is amazing, great shower, lots of space. The balcony. Oh how I love the balcony. Every single unit will get amazing sun and breeze. Ugh I miss it so much. The apartments look more luxurious than in the photos. In the winter, almost every apartment places balcony lights, oh so pretty and festive. Linda, the manager and the maintenance team do a great job, any issues were always fixed timely manner without fees. There were never loud noises, I rarely hear through the walls. I lived in a 5 Star Condo before moving to Buffalo. That building was new, sound proofed, spacious and up to date with Payment Portals and Digital Maintenance Request. We've had a few maintenance request since moving here this year and while they were met, it took a little follow up. On the other hand, the Manager Linda is the nicest person you'll ever meet, she responds to emails promptly, she makes you feel like nothing is a problem and is fairly carefree. I'd like to see more attention to detail with the gardening, they only have a part timer.. Also, the building could use more detailed up keep from power washing to replacement of carpets in the hallways. Lived here for two years with my friends as UB's ug students. The internet sometimes(several times per year) have issue. Our stove heat up significant slower than our friends' who also live here, but can't get it fixed. Other than that, not much to complain about.

I lived here for two years and had an overall great experience. I attribute that largely to the leasing & property manager, Linda. Whenever something went wrong in the apartment, it was quickly fixed at no cost to us. For example, our air conditioner leaked water into the apartment and got the carpet in one of the bedrooms wet. Within a day there was someone there to fix the leak and the carpet was professionally dried! It is that level of attention that makes the difference between living in a new building and living in a luxury new building - and Strathmore is certainly the latter. I have lived here for over a year and have just renewed a lease. The leasing agent is great with communication and ensuring I have had a comfortable and enjoyably residence. I initially came with short notice and she was quick on her feet to accommodate and get an apartment for me in less than 7 business days. The 1 bedroom studio with a study is very nice for 1 person or a couple - very over-sized space and in-unit laundry. I upgraded to a 2 bed/bath and love the layout (D) of it as well for 2-3 people. External garages are nice but if you can get on the wait list for a connected garage I highly suggest - more space and outlets to vacuum car/use radio while working in garage. It is a little disappointing that a pool isn't being built, but being so close to UB - I can use the Alumni Aren
