Showed up for a scheduled and confirmed in person tour but nobody was there. Building was locked and we called the leasing office on their door buzzer only for no one to answer. Even tried waiting for up to 15 minutes just in case somebody was in the bathroom or something and missed the phone. Called multiple times. Honestly unimpressed because it just seems unprofessional to miss a tour that’s been scheduled ahead of time. We even looked to see if they contacted us to cancel and found nothing. Would not recommend scheduling a tour here because there’s no way to get in contact with anyone if you have any issues.

First of all, I would like to say that Marla is my favorite landlady. NEVER in all my years of renting from apartments have I ever had someone who goes so far out of their way to make sure you are not only comfortable but also heard. My husband and I first moved here back in February of this year and it has been nothing but amazing. Mike (our maintenance guy) is also outstanding. His sense of humor is awesome and he always gets the job done. Lori does a great job at cleaning and she is so friendly. If you have any doubts about renting from here, just know that the staff at Stratford are what makes this place continuously run. They all work so dang hard to where I worry about them sometimes, but that never stops them from pushing for the resident's sake. I would also like to mention how sin

We are urban folks and when it came time to move was decided to move downtown. Before deciding on First Place we did and exhaustive search of downtown accommodations that met our criteria: large floorplan with 3 bedrooms, indoor secure parking and reasonable rent (under 2K a month). We found all this and more at First Place. The staff is friendly and accommodating and have gone out of their way when we need them. Thus far the only negative I've found is that you can't open the windows. It would be nice on a warm Spring day to be able to open the windows and let in the fresh air. To be fair we knew about the sealed windows before we moved in. However there is a nice outside patio with in ground pool that we are able to use (the property started out as a luxurious hotel - which explains t

First Place is well-suited for families or anyone else seeking an alternative to suburban rental communities. The building features large floor plans (3 bedrooms), outdoor pool deck with multiple grills, large storage units and convenient parking within the building. We've taken advantage of the easy access to the bike trails (Bike Score is 88), Riverscape activities and the newly opened Metro Library. It is refreshing to be able to walk (Walk Score is 78) to get a pizza, catch a performance at the Schuster Center, or go to the downtown YMCA. The staff is great and keeps the building in incredible condition. An added perk- it is pet-friendly. Our kids really enjoy being so close to so much.
