Stony Brook Apartments

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Stony Brook Apartments. At first Amar was helpful and responsive about a 1 bedroom and I thought things were going well but after that no one would answer my calls or emails and I even had to drive 30 minutes to the office just to follow up, when I finally talked to Amar again he said I could secure the unit with just one more document but the lease never went through and my messages and calls were ignored, I even had to make a second trip only to find the office closed. This whole experience has been super stressful and frustrating especially since I’m trying to move at the end of the month. The lack of communication and follow through is really disappointing and it feels like I was completely misled. It has been extremely overwhelming

Came in to tour, spoke with Amar the day before about seeing the actual unit. He stated the unit was ready to move in. Almost a two hour commute and we get to the property he forgot we had a meeting, didn’t have keys for the unit, and apparently the unit was unavailable to be seen. After repeating myself multiple times stating he informed me it was ready which is why I came to visit, I was ignored and still shown a two bedroom with a roach on the floor. I went forward with applying not because of the poor customer service but because of the price overall. Amar has sent me multiple misleading emails informing me that I’m being approved, now all of a sudden today compliance is requiring my W2s from 2023 which makes absolutely positively no sense to me and if I do not provide it my applicatio

If I could give this place zero starts I would. I been trying to reach the leasing office for the past month or so and they never seems to be in the office even though office hours are stated to be Monday-Friday from 9-5pm. I have left too many voicemails and no response back. Bad business for sure !

Bad for service no one answered the phone no one answered emails waiting list is too long DO Not Move here they suck Feel like it's a scam im glad I didn't make no deposit

Met with Gloria and Katrina, they were very nice, and i was able to view a three bedroom. It was super spacious with walk-in closets and an additional bathroom for me and my family. I almost forgot it had a balcony, too. Downside, there's a waitlist. But im not looking to move in soon, so that's okay.
