If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. Living at Stoneridge at Mark Center has been one of the most frustrating rental experiences I’ve ever had. Maintenance issues are constantly ignored or delayed. Our dishwasher has been broken for a long time and despite multiple requests, nothing meaningful has been done to fix it. The laundry facilities are just as bad — the clothes washing machines are terrible, often not working properly and leaving clothes barely clean. For a complex this size, basic appliances should at least function. On top of that, there is a serious pest problem. We’ve seen mice in multiple areas, which makes it very uncomfortable to live here. I had a great experience at Stonebridge at Mark Center Apartment Homes office thanks to Grindy Cabrera. She was the one who handled my service request, and she did an outstanding job. Grindy was professional, friendly, and very attentive to details. She made sure everything was completed properly and in a timely manner. Grindy has been an excellent assistant manager and a true asset to our apartment community. She is always professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful whenever I need assistance. She takes the time to listen, follows through quickly, and genuinely cares about residents and customer service. Any issue I’ve had was handled efficiently and with a positive attitude. The landlord at Stoneridge at Mark Center apartments in Alexandria, Virginia treated me like I was a payment not a person. When there was a water leak in the building that caused mold build up inside of my unit that I reported to them on January 28, 2026, they ignored addressing the problem with me. The assistant property manager Jossely's response was in reference to a rent balance that I owed. Even after court when the judge gave Stoneridge Apartments the judgement, they still refused to look into the mold build up issue. They never offered me an apology and/or relocation into another apartment if/after I brought my account up to date to redeem the apartment. !!!!!!!!Moved in here 5 months ago, and it was the worst decision I’ve made!!!!!! The laundry machines looks and smells like a literal dumpster. I’ve called maintenance about it for months, and nothing changes. Trash, filth, old machines which are completely neglected. On top of that, you’re forced to use an outdated, old-school laundry card system that can only be reloaded during office hours. So if you have a job or a life, good luck doing laundry. There are rats everywhere on the property. This isn’t an exaggeration. One of them even got into my car. That alone should tell you everything you need to know about how poorly this place is maintained. Parking is a nightmare.
