Stonegate Apartments

Disappointing experience with maintenance after moving in. Despite promises of a move-in ready unit, I encountered several issues. Unfortunately, the responsiveness and care from the maintenance team have been lacking. Would not recommend for those seeking reliable support after leasing.

Lived here ~5 years, recently moved out. Downsized to a one-bedroom I really liked. For such a large company, Stonegate does a great job fostering community. I never felt like “just a rent check.” All three property managers during my time were responsive, professional, and friendly. Maintenance requests were handled good overall, grounds and landscaping are well-kept year-round, and the pool area is clean with a longer season than most communities. The gym was spotless, had newer equipment, and was never crowded. Yes, the dumpster issue some reviews mention happens occasionally, but it wasn't an issue on even a monthly basis (often from non-residents dumping large items in it, and if you call the office/maintenance, they remedy it in less than a day). I have lived at this apartment complex for over 10 years total. The past 2 years have been awful regarding neighbors, maintenance and I feel like the management does not even care. We had our basement flood and the best they offered was “talk to insurance”. Didn’t even clean it up all the way or try to help fix damage. They also have towed a car for being in a private lot for 24 hours with a flat tire !!! Like who does that? So ontop of the increase in rent and inflation, I have to pay over $250 in towing + the price to fix my car in the first place. I was working on that but they do not give you a lot of time, even with holidays, they want to make sure you struggle. Do not move here, they will only hurt you! I would recommend anywhere else. I lived at Stonegate for almost 4 years, and we made some amazing friends who live at Stonegate. The pool during the summer months is awesome. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Very rarely did we experience maintenance issues, but when we did, they were prompt to get it fixed. Stonegate was a great place to live. I was extremely sad to leave.

I've lived here for about three years and I don't have any major problems. The office staff has always been professional and responsive. The maintenance staff has also been the same. I've never had to wait long for any repairs. The apartment itself is nice and very spacious. I liked the kitchen a lot. Parking has never been an issue, they have plenty of spots. They keep the grounds well kept and clean. I've had no real problems except for eccentric neighbors that we're not always my taste. But I suppose that's just apartment living. So, in sum the apartments are pretty nice, staff is pretty nice, living here is pretty easy and the location is pretty central.
