Stone Haven

Terrible experience with this builder called Rivermoore Partners. Stay away from them. We bought a brand new home at Stone Haven which has a lot of issues until today. Two bathtubs cracked on their own within a month and they said it was not covered - cheap materials. They claim you have a one year warranty but did not fix a lot of our issues within that time frame. Many faulty designs in the house. Our small garage gets flooded about over one feet whenever it rains. This was due to a flawed design that will keep the water out. We reported this and it was NEVER fixed. Instead they sent someone to put a rubber strip across the entrance of the garage door; it still does not keep out the water. Our family started working with the onsite selling agent Chris at Stone Haven to compile a contract to build with Chafin. During the process of drafting an offer to present to builder through the onsite agent, we were advise by Chris that it was standard for the builder to include window screens. However, this is not included on their list of standard items and their model home does not have screens. Also, that we would be able to complete a walk-through of the lot with the superintendent within three business days of binding agreement to determine whether we wanted to continue with the lot because it is not staked so buyers can gauge space, that we could pick a new lot, or we could cancel the contract altogether if not satisfied with lot.
