I recently closed on a home using Stewart Title Co., recommended by a friend. I remembered that I had used Stewart Title Co. in Houston, Texas when I purchased my first home 36 years ago! Chris Saabye & Traci Volta were so accommodating, responsive & helpful. Everything was done efficiently and smoothly!

This is my 3rd sale as an owner -- so 6th closing overall and I was no impressed at all by Stewart Title. Serious lack of communication I had to spell out simple things as whom was closing when multiple times to the point I just had to all caps the text and even then there was still errors in sending the correct electronic closing information to the correct party. I also got asked the same question multiple time even if I had already answered it in a document. I got sent the funding information hours before closing when the document clearing stated at the top it should be communicated 24 hours in advance. I had to stop my work day to ensure a wire transfer was completed.
