Sterling Pointe Apartments

I had a wonderful experience touring the apartments here at Sterling. Alexandra was incredible she made me feel comfortable and was very easy going. She made my apartment search easy. She broke down all the fees and what to expect each month with “no hidden fees or any surprise charges like some apartment company” as she explained the features of the both 1 and 2 bedroom it was honestly hard to choose she “sold” me on both. Loved this place, really miss it too, we moved cause my husband got a better job offer 3 hours away, otherwise we probably would have stayed for a lot longer. Only gripe was the water leaking into our floor from the sprinklers outside which turned to having the dining room floor being remodeled, they replaced it with some weird crinkly stuff that you can feel and hear every time you walk on it. Other then that they have been wonderful and we got pur whole security deposit back.

I’ve been living here almost 2 yrs now and management is very responsive to all my requests. Could rent be cheaper, yeah probably. But it’s expensive everywhere. I love my little apartment!

When I moved in the panels in my kitchen were not replaced. It was gross when they said they already had someone clean them. They were replaced within two weeks of my moving in. I did have another issue for maintenanceand they were out the next day fixing it. Maintenance is quick and professional. I love the natural light facing south. Plus on the end of the building I have an extra window. It is fabulous. Three stars because of the weed smell. In April(moved in here March 28th), I would get it 3-4 times even with all my windows closed. Now during the warmer months I get the smell at least once maybe twice a day. The smell comes in through the vents. They said they can't do anything about it. 😕 The community laws say no smoking within 25 feet of the building. This is not enforced at all.

Lived there for several months while attending WSU Davis (VERY SHORT commute for any other students). The staff are kind, the room was extremely clean on move in, maintenance requests were handled immediately, and they were fair and gave me back my full deposit on move out. I think the only bad thing I could say is there are semi-frequent jet sounds from the Air Force space, but that is only during the day, not at night. Otherwise I never heard a peep from my neighbors and it was quiet and clean.
