If only there was a ZERO star option. We did a long term rental with Starheel properties (736 Landmark Cove) and let me just start by saying that all they care about is making money. We rented a newly built house that started off with the oven not working and didn't get fixed for three weeks, asked for a mailbox key and didn't receive that for two weeks as well as a garbage can for the outside for the town to pick up took two and a half weeks to get. If you don't have all of that already in order, why would you list the house for rent!? Fast forward to two years later and ALWAYS paying our overpriced rent on time, I myself at nine months pregnant with carpal tunnel painted almost the whole house and even got a professional to come out and clean the carpet. We stayed at the property last year and it was a very good experience. This year we decided to book the same property directly through star heel and the experience couldn't have been more different. When we arrived at the property we noticed multiple issues such as left over water bottles in the refrigerator, a Ziploc bag in the freezer these just seem like a health issue also trash under the bed. The trash wasn't under the middle of the bed it was like on the side where you can see it with a naked eye, the shower curtains in both rooms were covered in mold/mildew, and the cherry on top was finding blood on the pillow case. We stayed for a week at Commons 2808 in Brunswick Plantation. The condo was beautifully decorated, clean, and in a great location. It is on the third floor but stairs were manageable. The condo is near the pool which was big and not very crowded. Will definitely stay again as it is close drive to beautiful and tranquil Sunset Beach yet not too far from the more touristy attractions in Myrtle.
