Stanley Martin Homes at Mixson

We just closed and moved into our home in Mixson and we could not be happier. This is actually the first time I have ever written a review on Google but I think it is necessary because the team from Stanley Martin was so fantastic throughout the entire process of building our house. My husband and I were always blown away with the quick responses we would get from Seth and Leigh, even if we had a question on the weekend or in the evenings. Being first time homeowners I was pretty skeptical of pretty much any mass market builder after hearing horror stories online and through word of mouth. I was pleasantly surprised that we would never have to deal with situations as others have faced with SM. I would hire them again in a heart beat should we ever decide to build again in Charleston. All

Buyer make sure you READ HOA rules and especially Mixson Club membership part. Stanley Martin sales people will not tell you that 4 year membership is mandatory and it is not cheap. Oh and should I mention the fact that houses here are shaking and trembling and rumbling from trains going near by. Diesel train horns are sooo loud. I havnt had a good sleep for months now.

Love how Stanley Martin Homes has vastly expanded & improved Mixson. The neighborhood construction supervisor, Gene Haddock, is experienced, knowledgeable & personable. I'm excited to see what the next phase of development brings.

Cookie cutter houses with poor quality construction details. Designs that look nothing like the rest of Mixson, buying these houses encourages developers like SM to drag and drop this generic BS into a neighborhood near you with little or no resistance.
