Avoid this landlord if you value your peace of mind. They completely neglect their responsibilities- I've reported issues like ceiling leaks, a loud broken fridge, and they've done nothing for months. No response, no repairs, no accountability. It's clear they don't care at all about their tenants' well-being or mental health.

I have never dealt with people who are so incompetent, irresponsible and flat out despicable. Repairs take WEEKS if not MONTHS. From the fridge to the toilet to the locks to the pipes-- it's just one broken p.o.s. after the other. The front door to the Standard Realty building has also been repeatedly broken for the year that I have lived here. The FRONT DOOR! These people do not care about the safety of their tenants. When you call the office to request a service, the employees are incredibly rude, they blame the tenant for anything that goes wrong. But I would like to share my experience that I believe shows the complete moral corruptness of this company: As my lease is ending, the company is allowed to enter my apt to show it to prospective renters (this is in the lease) IF I AM NOT TH

well love is a strong word for a landlord, but i have been living in a building of thiers for about 6 years now and im plenty happy here. but the situation for finding a decent aprtment in new york sucks. when i got the apartment i noticed they have a wide range of units, some were not so nice whereas i chose to pay for and live in a nicer more renovated one

Previous tenant with Standard Realty. Poor customer service, took months to get deposit back and hung up the phone multiple times when asking for updates. I’m surprised they are still in business.
