Staley Crossing

I have lived at Staley Crossing since 2020. When I first moved there were different leasing agents and different maintenance staff and honestly I experienced issues. But after those people left I have had nothing but positive experiences. Rodney, the maintenance manager, is always so nice and helpful, he has a quiet personality but is always friendly and I feel comfortable when he is in my home. (As a female being comfortable when a maintenance man is in my home is extremely important to me.) And Erica, the leasing manager is always so polite and responsive to my questions or concerns. I enjoy living in the community.

First off, talking to an actual person is almost impossible because of “Arlo, the virtual leasing agent”. It’s not awful to use AI to set up your stuff, but if you’re not even going to check when your AI bot has set up in person tour maybe you should rethink your workflow. I wouldn’t have minded if they said it had to be a self guided tour on the weekend, but it was very clear from the texts sent that there would be a person to meet. I tried to salvage it but couldn’t get a self guided tour set up until 5:30 pm from our original 10 am appointment. If we struggled this hard to trying to purchase a townhome that looks beat up and run down on the outside for $2500 a month, I can’t imagine how hard it would be to get anything else taken seriously here.

DO NOT apply for a townhome here unless you are 1000% sure you want to live here. I applied and then after applying I was approved for a different home that I eventually signed a lease for, when informing Staley Crossing that I signed somewhere else they informed me my application fee would be mailed to me in a check over 2 weeks later after applying. They held my money for over two weeks. There’s no way in this day and age that it takes 2 weeks to get someone their money back. Out of all the places I looked this way by far the worst experience!

I moved from Staley Crossing in 2021. Three yrs later, i got served with a notice that i did not pay last month of rent. Three people in the house were turned over to credit bureaus messing credit up. One person still in school. I found where i paid. Save your receipts. These people cannot keep accurate records.

the staff don't respond to the portal, they don't care about the way tenants are treated, and good luck having maintenance requests tackled in a timely fashion. hopefully the economy betters & we can relocate soon. and you won't get return calls unless they need something from you.
