Spurlock North Apartments

I moved from Houston to Beaumont for my new job and signed 10 months lease with Spurlock North Apartments and paid $300 deposit. After six months I moved back to Houston for better job, but I kept paying rent to Spurlock North Apartment until end of my lease, on time. I Cleaned the apartment and hand over the keys, but they try to deduct for some bogus charges, like no insurance (which I had it on day 1) and microwave, fridge and oven cleaning (which I cleaned before handing over the keys) and some marks on the wall ( which already were there before I moved in and I had taken photos and also brought it to Manager's attention). They try to give me back just $23.82 from my $300 deposit. After contacting them they lowered some charges but still charged me $147.00 from my deposit which I didn'

Why is the pool always a disgusting green color like they do not treat it with chemicals. People/kids still swim in it like this. The staff lack at they're jobs Monday-Friday and maintenance is poor educated in what to do just look at the pool for example. Please keep up with the amenities because we pay for these things to as of why we live here and pay rent.

I have been a resident for about 7 months, and I love living here. Any issues/concerns, which were very minor, have been handled quickly and professionally. Safety is a major concern for me, and I feel perfectly safe at all times. I have really enjoyed the pool and my balcony. Several times the garbage has been an issue, but I feel that is from tenants moving out and leaving furniture in the dumpsters. It is quiet here, and the neighbors I've met are very nice. I have noticed that as tenants move out, many of the apartments are being redone: painting, replacing carpet, etc. Management: thank you for doing your best to manage this property in a professional manner! I moved from CT to TX in August of 2018. My daughter had seen Spurlock North Apts. and told me to look into them. I've lived here for almost 5 months, and have been happy for the most part. Things are fixed if I put in a work order, and it's usually with in a day or two. I love the size of my apt., and love that they allow pets. I have a dog, so I was concerned about that. I like the neighbor that lives next door and a few that live upstairs. When I go to the office to pay my rent, everyone is very pleasant and welcoming! There are always a few things with every place that you might not like. I don't think it's fair to put a deposit down on a pet, and then still have to pay more in the rent. A deposit is for any damage a pet may cause. We shouldn't have to pay twice! Also, I don't like hav

Apartment complex is always clean and management is great, also so helpful with any issues that I had the maintenance man would take care of the problem fast. Pool is always clean. I enjoy living here for so many years and felt safe at all times.
