Like many builders today, this one appears to prioritize profit over quality — often in ways the average buyer may never notice until it's too late. Take the housewrap, for example. Instead of using a high-quality, durable option with proper cap fasteners, the builder went with a budget wrap from Home Depot and tacked it on with standard staples — a clear shortcut that compromises the home's ability to shed water and protect from moisture over time. The cost-cutting doesn't stop there. Rather than investing in energy-efficient spray foam insulation or building stronger, better-insulated 2x6 exterior walls, the builder went with cheaper batt insulation
