Spanish Oak Apartments

This place is awful, if I could give zero stars I would. These apartments are horrible every issue you could imagine happening has occurred over the past 2 years we have lived here. In unit 8A we had a severe rat, roach and ant infestation that management did the bare minimum to resolve. Pest control is bad they just spray and handed us a couple sticky traps for rats that were the size of a chihuahua. The ceiling in this unit had also caved in because of a long standing water drip that deteriorated the ceiling in the bathroom. The ants here are severe no matter how much we clean ants seem to live in the walls of all of these units and have caused us to throw away hundreds of dollars worth and food. In 2024 we moved into a unit on the 3rd floor (unit 31K) and had exactly the same pests issu

I'm incredibly grateful I was able to rent an apartment less than 2 weeks after my other complex burned down. The ladies in the office are AMAZING and the approval process was fairly streamlined. The unit is MUCH bigger than my last one, and just a little bit higher on cost. Any issues ive had have been dealt with swiftly and properly. My *only* complaint, or something I would change, is the mailboxes. Im disabled and cant drive, and im all the way in the back of the complex, so its a bit difficult getting my mail and packages. I make do, however, and overall am happy with my decision to rent here. I have only been here a month, so if any issues arise that are deal breaker, ill be sure to edit this review.

I’m very thankful for the help I received during my approval process. I’m new to the state, and Brittney truly made this transition so much easier for me and my children. She was kind, patient, and professional, and she took the time to walk me through everything. If you’re unsure or nervous about applying, don’t be afraid to take a step out on faith. The staff here is supportive and genuinely wants to help. I’m grateful for this opportunity and would definitely recommend these apartments.

Britney was great, I went and applied. Had application fee and $400 deposit. I wasn't approved which okay I get, but still have not gotten my deposit and this was on December 27th. Now no answer when I call. They are waiting for the owners to come in to write me a check. I understand with the holidays but now we are on the 8th of January and still nothing.

First off, any review that's more than 1 star is obviously management or renters that get a discount from their rent for a good review because these apartments are complete trash. From pest problems, homeless going through the dumpsters and living in vacant apartments with managements knowledge, rude neighbors, dogs roaming without leaches, gun shots in front of my apartment every other day to poor maintenance. The worst of it, the management. Or should I say lack thereof management. Ants will be your roommates no matter the poison you put down. Roaches, ok I don't mind a few roaches, I put my baits down and spray my poison, but I had to throw away 2 tvs, microwave, toaster, and many other appliances that were infested with roaches.
