Pretty fantastic location, space, price, and amenities for the cost you’re paying and if you’re a medical student. It’s also very close to Love Field which makes travel very convenient. Another great perk is on demand shuttle service to many of the main hospitals and outpatient facilities near by. It’s pretty much impossible to find this quality at the price you’re paying anywhere else in Dallas.

Living at MedPark has been a real blessing in our lives. When we first moved here, I wasn't too sold on it, but now in our third year here, I realize what a gem it is for many reasons: 1) COST/VALUE. Current rate for the smaller size 2 bedroom is $1360 + $20 for internet (built in mesh fiber from Spectrum). All stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, wood laminate flooring, nice pool, gas BBQs and exercise room (treadmills, ellipticals, bike, leg machine, arms machine, squat bar, free weights -- usually everything is in working condition). It's hard to come by a good, safe 2 BD in the area for this price. 2) MedPark has some good grounds; there's plenty of room for parking, not assigned (although no covered parking). Do not rent here. Things are ALWAYS broken and rarely fixed. Courtesy officers never respond or even follow up to left voicemails. Maintenance tickets are rarely if ever answered. Almost every magnetic lock in the complex is broken and has been for multiple quarters. The concrete in the hallways never get cleaned. They are swift to hand out fines for leaving your trash can in the hallway on the wrong day though. This place is disappointing at best and nearing trifling.

I love it here. It's like a little paradise. The apartments are a good size, maintenance crew is AWESOME, the management is like family, tons of medical students and post docs, very family friendly, the pool is perfect for kids and adults, lots of nice scenery, nice neighbors, SAFE, and the cheapest you'll find in this area.

Medpark started out as a great place to live, but we ended up staying there for approximately 10 years and watched it get progressively worse. Pros: - rent is slightly cheaper than other complexes in the area (though those apartments are newer and have hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, fancy amenities etc, so depends on what you care about) - close to UTSW, and there is a shuttle until 7pm on weekdays, making it a good option for people without a car Cons: - no pets - this complex is old and it shows.
