Southwest Ranch Condominiums

Southwest Ranch is a lovely community with great neighbors and professional, responsive staff. There are some lovely shops nearby but they aren't too close if you know what I mean. Our daughter loves the pool and hanging out with the other kids. Decent workout room too. I work from home so I really appreciate how quiet the days are here.

The units are basic, nothing out of the ordinary. We moved in 6 years ago, the first 2-3 years was excellent. Management was on top of their job and made sure everything went well and work orders were taken cared of. The last few year have been horrible and disappointing. Management is extremely unprofessional, unreliable, careless to say the least. They really don’t care about anything but the rent check sliding down their mailbox. The premises are not maintained, the pool looks disgusting all year round, the workout room isn’t functioning but a threadmill, landscaping happens maybe 1-2x per year, the security gate is always broken, i could go on. We get a new manager probably every month, who has no idea what’s going on and they end up quitting. This place is a disaster and the current “

Our rent was locked in at 1275 for 12 months. We’ve lived here for 6 months and you threaten me with an eviction notice because YOU made our rent rate wrong and YOU did the paperwork wrong. Make this right! Watch out if you move here! We had to cough up the “missing rent” with no questions answered. Melissa claims to be the supervisor but did not give me the name or number for someone that works for Pheniox Gardens Of Nevada. The property manager is terrible here.

I wouldn't really recommend applying here, it takes forever for the actual application process to go through! The staff aren't really vocal towards potential renters because it seems like you'll have to keep calling just to get an update on something! Applied 2 months ago and still haven't heard anything back, and honestly got tired of calling to check the status. The complex looked really nice inside and out, but from the previous reviews as well, not sure if I'd even move in if I got approved anymore. Would've been worth it if management just communicated more with people that were really interested in being a possible rental candidate.

The new management is far from efficient. I was out of town for a month and they towed my car without first checking the license plate, which they have authority to do. A phone call would have saved me $215.00 towing fees through no fault of my own. I was given the space by the previous management who obviously did not update my file. They said a notice was put on the car but my daughter went every week to start it up and there was no notice. If a notice had been put on and there was no reply that should have been a red flag, a resident could have been dead in their apartment. Twice I have put in a written repair request, as required but was ignored both times, as they did not see it, yet it was in the Rent box as requested. You approach them and they are so condescending, it’s sickening.
